Founded in 2002 as a boutique studio dedicated to luxury retail, Sybarite has since grown into a global design agency with projects ranging in scale from masterplans and architecture to interiors and products. Sybarite is seeking candidates of all levels who are passionate in design and keen to collaborate on key mixed-use projects. As a team member, you will balance design, technical ability and efficiency to deliver cohesive architectural projects that are aesthetically innovative and technically feasible. 


  • Analyse the brief and plan own project work.
  • Produce work on a chosen design package.
  • Identify required project information, conduct relevant research and sourcing.
  • Cooperate with external design parties and offer suitable professional response to technical/design queries.
  • Contribute to preparation of lists, schedules, outline specifications.
  • Identify and propose design measures to comply with building codes, regulations and other regional regulatory requirements.
  • Seek, receive, organise and relay project design information.
  • Use fresh and relevant ways of working to convey own & team’s concept designs.
  • Work to a consistent pace from concept development through to final delivery.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and third parties when working on projects. Assist in creation of an itemised list of design stage deliverables. Review and assist in planning of design work on the package in accordance with the project timeline.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills, naturally igniting great rapport and adapting style to all levels.
  • Relevant knowledge of materials and finishes, confidently take responsibility from concept to completion.
  • Able to confidently assist the associates in the design and production of interior or architectural projects within the office.
  • Consider the relationship between creativity and technical design as fluid.
  • Previous experience working for an international firm.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Able to confidently take responsibility and deliver packages from concept design to developed design and following up throughout the construction process.
  • Able to produce construction details, with a good understanding of construction principles
  • Superb communication skills, naturally igniting great rapport and adapting style to all levels.
  • Consider the relationship between creativity and technical design as fluid.
  • Collaborative with other disciplines
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino required (BIM delivery expertise preferred).
  • Able to confidently take responsibility in leading CD, SD & DD package delivery programming resources and workload.
