Technical Architect

We are looking to hire a Technical Architect to join our growing team based in London.


Highly motivated with a passion for creating innovative projects

Proven experience in working on large scale projects, department stores would be beneficial 

Solid experience of producing working and detailed construction drawings

Ability to resolve often complex detail design issues

Strong understanding of material specification

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Understanding of Building Regulations, UK and Chinese beneficial

Understanding of building services and building structural systems

Understanding and experience applying sustainable construction methods and building systems

5+ years’ experience working on architectural projects


Collating and organizing design and technical information

Investigating technical information and factors that affect developments, including user needs, surveys and regulatory requirements

Preparing design proposals using CAD and traditional methods

Contributing to the detailed design process and coordinating detailed design information

Contributing to design stage risk assessment

Coordinates design and implementation with project consultants and construction team members

Develop designs according to client brief and expectation across design phases

Production of coordinated design packages

Championing technical research and development of current and emerging technologies, building materials and building construction systems


Advanced level skills in AutoCAD and Rhinoceros

Strong knowledge of drawing packages and construction detailing

Strong sketching ability

Excellent communication & presentation skills

Strong knowledge of geometry 

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Strong sketching ability

Ability to work to tight deadlines and work collaboratively under pressure

Experience with Adobe software suite

Some experience with Autodesk Revit a bonus
