As Associate Director at Sybarite, Matthew Bibbey leads complex retail, mixed-use and destination-led projects across Asia and the Middle East, guiding multidisciplinary teams from concept development through to delivery. A qualified British Architect accredited by both the RIBA and ARB, he brings over fifteen years of international experience spanning London, Shanghai and the Middle East. Having lived and worked extensively in China, Matthew combines commercial awareness with a deep understanding of placemaking, leading projects for Hongkong Land, CR Land, Swire Properties, DFS, SM Malls and King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).

Recognised for his strategic mindset, Matthew combines architectural rigour with creative problem-solving to deliver commercially successful, experience-led destinations. Alongside project leadership, he champions innovation in design and delivery, integrating emerging technologies and multidisciplinary collaboration to help shape the next generation of retail and mixed-use environments.
