Simon Mitchell

Co-Founder

For more than three decades, Simon Mitchell has worked at the intersection of architecture, commerce and customer experience, helping redefine how brands create meaningful relationships with people through place. Collaborating with clients including Ferrari, Marni, LVMH, CR Land, Central Group, Hongkong Land, Swire Properties and SKP, his work is driven by a belief that commercial success follows when places offer people a reason to stay, return and engage.

After beginning his career at Future Systems, Simon co-founded Sybarite to challenge conventional models of retail and placemaking. Today, he works at the intersection of architecture, strategy and customer experience, helping clients anticipate changing behaviours and translate them into destinations that remain relevant, resilient and commercially successful over time.

Alongside practice, Simon contributes to industry dialogue as a keynote speaker, editor and author. As Editor-in-Chief of The Future of Experience, and author of his quarterly Notes on Design column, he explores the future of luxury, retail and design while advocating that, even in an age of rapid innovation, the strongest ideas still begin with observation, curiosity and a simple sketch.
