Chris Chew

Chris was born and raised in Malaysia. He relocated to the UK as a young adult in 1988 to study. After college, he furthered his education and studied Business Law at City University in London, and later received his qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2007.

Chris has over 23 years of experience working in finance, Chris possesses proven financial acumen, strong leadership skills and strategic mindset. After working as a practice accountant for 13 years, Chris moved into the architectural industry, starting as an in-house accountant for a reputable architecture firm and has worked for 3 different architectural practices since then.

As Finance Director at Sybarite, Chris is responsible for the company’s financial health and growth. He oversees all accounting operations and plays a pivotal role in supporting the studio’s overall success and sustainability.

Outside of working, Chris values spending time with his family the most, but also enjoys attending the occasional social event.
