About the Role

Sybarite is seeking a talented and highly organised Midweight Graphic Designer to join its Brand and Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Brand, the role will support the development and delivery of visual communications across brand, marketing, social media, PR, new business, digital platforms and wider studio initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strong graphic-design craft with conceptual thinking and motion-design expertise, managing projects from initial brief through to final delivery.

About You

Design & Creative Execution

  • Create visual assets for marketing, PR, new business and wider studio initiatives.
  • Deliver high-quality creative work across print, digital and motion formats.
  • Design presentations, credentials, brochures, reports, event materials and branded collateral.
  • Create motion graphics and short-form video for campaigns, events, social media and the Sybarite website.
  • Edit video using Adobe Premiere Pro and develop animation and motion content using Adobe After Effects.
  • Develop visual concepts aligned with Sybarite’s brand identity and strategic priorities.
  • Translate architectural, spatial and strategic information into clear visual communications.
  • Maintain high standards of typography, layout, composition, animation and visual storytelling.
  • Manage assigned projects from brief and concept development through to final artwork and delivery.

Creative Development & Conceptual Thinking

  • Interpret creative briefs and develop thoughtful, ideas-led design responses.
  • Create moodboards, visual narratives, storyboards and concept presentations.
  • Present ideas clearly and explain the thinking behind creative decisions.
  • Respond constructively to feedback.
  • Research developments across graphic design, branding, culture and technology.
  • Contribute to creative reviews, workshops and team discussions.

Brand & Content

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Sybarite’s visual identity and brand guidelines.
  • Support the development of templates, case studies and brand assets.
  • Maintain visual consistency across internal and external communications.
  • Design and adapt content for the Sybarite website, Instagram, LinkedIn, WeChat and Little Red Book/Xiaohongshu.
  • Translate campaign and editorial ideas into effective visual content.

Collaboration & Project Management

  • Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, New Business and project design teams.
  • Establish a clear understanding of project objectives, audiences, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Manage several concurrent projects while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Take ownership of assigned work and identify potential issues at the appropriate stage.
  • Work effectively with external collaborators and suppliers.
  • Maintain organised working files, templates and asset libraries, including OpenAsset.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five or more years’ professional graphic-design experience within a creative studio, agency, architecture practice or comparable environment.
  • Strong portfolio spanning print, digital and motion design.
  • Experience producing presentations, publications, campaigns and digital content.
  • Experience designing for websites and social media.
  • Interest in architecture, spatial design, branding and the built environment.

KEY SKILLS

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Proficiency in Figma for prototyping and UI elements as well as AI tools.
  • Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition and visual hierarchy.
  • Strong motion-design and video-editing skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple deadlines.
  • Clear and professional communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
