SKP Chengdu featured at the upcoming La Saga des Grands Magasins

Sybarite are honoured to be included in the ongoing exhibition La Saga des Grands Magasins at Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, Paris (6th November 2024 – 6th April 2025), alongside 500 original pieces from department store collections globally.

Divided into three chapters showcasing the legacy and evolution of department stores worldwide, the exhibition begins with ‘The Golden Age’ (1850-1930), moving into ‘The Machine to Sell Era’ (1930-1980), and culminating in ‘The Modern Revival’ (1980-present).

In the final chapter, a model of our multi-award-winning SKP Chengdu project is showcased, accompanied by a showreel highlighting the collaboration between Sybarite and SKP. This presentation offers a forward-thinking vision for the future, demonstrating groundbreaking leadership in mixed-use master planning and setting a new standard for department stores of its kind.
