Regularly described as one of the most influential people in fashion, Angelica Cheung is synonymous with the Chinese luxury industry after 16 years as the founding Editor-In-Chief of VOGUE China which she launched in 2005 to instant and lasting success, reputationally and commercially.
Her subsequent experience in investment and acquisitions with Hongshan Capital (formerly Sequoia Capital) in the past 5 years offered her further perspectives, giving her a 360-degree insight on China and the global luxury industry. She is on the board of Zegna Group (NYSE), Four Seasons Group, AMI Paris, WE11DONE, Durham University Business School, and act as advisor to international brands through her own consulting firm. She has been profiled by many international media including the Financial Times, The Times of London, CNN and BBC Radio Four programme Zietgiesters.
Angelica is known for her innovative ideas, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to move seamlessly between the creative and commercial worlds. In her early years, Angelica had been an entrepreneur, an accomplished English-language journalist, and held top positions at ELLE China and MARIE CLAIRE Hong Kong. Angelica was born in Beijing, residing in Hong Kong, with degrees in law and literature from Peking University as well as an MBA from the University of South Australia.
