IAIN MACKAY

Iain Mackay joined Sybarite in 2013 as Technical Director and is responsible for streamlining the production of information. He has been instrumental in managing both the design and technical aspects on for a range of Sybarite projects from monobrand flagship stores and malls to luxury department stores for notable Chinese retail operator, SKP, from SKP Beijing to masterplans SKP Xi’an and the recently opened SKP Chengdu.

Iain manages multiple teams involved in diverse large-scale projects and ambitious masterplans, overseeing the entire design and technical stages. He is engaged in resource allocation, conducting project reviews, and contributing to the hiring process.

Prior to joining Sybarite, Iain worked as a Lead Associate, and contributed significantly to the development and expansion of the studio. He has a range of architectural experience from luxury and high-end retail to private residential projects, as well as football stadiums, medical research labs, schools, and social housing.
