As Non-Executive Director at Sybarite, Kevin Roche brings a background of extensive experience, as a business owner and leader, a senior executive and as an integral client advisor around the globe for the past 50 years. His career encompasses Mixed-use, Integrated Resorts, Department Stores, Speciality Retailers, Luxury Brands and Hospitality sectors.

As a Design Executive, he has led the integration of retail planning, interior and architectural design, retail merchandising, marketing, brand strategy, creative services and brand communications.

By leveraging design as a competitive strategy, Kevin has been responsible for the creation of one-of-a-kind retail, lifestyle and hospitality destinations for the most notable brands, retail groups and commercial real estate executives.

Kevin is deeply experienced in design leadership, project management and construction, leading international teams of Architects, Designers, Engineers, Planners, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers. His approach, rooted in the realities of design, operational demands, schedules and budgets, has successfully conceived and delivered complex world class experiences around the world.

Notable highlights of his esteemed career encompass: a 15-year position for LVMH’s Selective Distribution Group as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction for both DFS Group and Le Bon Marche Paris, Senior Advisor to the Chairman and Executive Vice President of Moet Hennessy, and to the Chairman and CEO of LVMH’s DFS Group since 2021.

Kevin has worked on the experience, redevelopment and repositioning of multi-year projects for international groups such as Beymen, Selfridges Group, the Rotterdam City Center Redevelopment Project, KaDeWe, British Petroleum (BP) and the Five Star Meadowood Napa Valley Resort.

Over the span of Kevin’s career clients have included Bloomingdale’s, Central Group, Diesel, Edizione (Benetton), The Gap, Group Bon Marche, KaDeWe, Lotte, Limited Brands, L’Oréal, Macy’s, Marriott International, Saks Fifth Avenue and Shinsegae.

Beginning his career Kevin co-founded FRCH Design Worldwide, growing the firm as CEO from 4 to 250 professionals during his 25-year tenure. He held key roles at DFS Group/LVMH, as Senior Vice President of Design and Construction, acting as CEO at Fitch Worldwide while overseeing the sale of Fitch to WPP, and serving on an Advisory Board and as Acting Director of Design and Construction to the parent company of the KaDeWe Group in Berlin.

Kevin has lived and worked across the world, in cities such as Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, and Los Angeles.
