Stefanel
Italian knitwear brand Stefanel approached Sybarite for a complete rebranding to propel them in a futuristic direction. The idea was to create a strong and recognisable architectural language synonymous with their revised brand identity and image.
Sybarite undertook a 750+ store worldwide roll-out with a tailored ‘kit-of-parts’ comprising 21 different geometric wall units and adaptable pre-fabricated modular elements manufactured off-site. These were configured to fit spaces ranging from 40-2,000m2, from sizeable flagships through to tiny shop-in-shops. The inventive concept demonstrated exceptional value for money and could be delivered, with ease, in a minimal turnaround time with no margin for error.
The components of gloss lacquered GRP and polished stainless steel were selected for their fluid nature to form the walls, display surfaces and furniture, creating the impression of a continuous form moulded into display props and surfaces. The motif of square into circle repeats throughout, from the curvy rectangles of the wall units and freestanding furniture to the bespoke stools, shelves and door handles. The language is translated into stylised mannequins and hangers.
